In fact, this is closely related to the boot mode. If you want to install Windows on GPT disk, your computer should be set to boot from UEFI boot mode; if you want to install Windows on MBR disk, your computer should be set to boot from Legacy BIOS. Here you know you receive this message because your PC is booting from Legacy BIOS.
Here are two suggestions for you:
a) If your main board supports both Legacy BIOS and UEFI, you can change boot mode UEFI or you can choose Both.
b) If only Legacy BIOS is supported, you need to convert the GPT disk to MBR disk.
Tips for option b)
Converting GPT to MBR is easy. If you have another OS available, you can log into that OS and use MiniTool Partition Wizard Free to help you. Select the GPT disk which will be used to install Windows, and choose Convert GPT disk to MBR feature. Don’t forget to click Apply in the tool bar to confirm this conversion.
