MiniTool Partition Wizard enables you to explore partitions OR browse files before you perform any operation. If partitions have no drive letter, you can explore partition to identify which partition it is used to be. For example, when your PC is in boot mode, and you want to resize partitions, you will need this feature to avoid mis-operation.
If you are not sure about which partition you are going to operate, you can browse your disk by using “Explore Partition“. Then each partition can be identified before you perform any operations. In this case, you don’t have to worry about whether you are operating the right partition.

To explore a partition, please follow the steps below: (Suppose you want to explore partition J)
1. Launch MiniTool Partition Wizard.
2. Choose partition J and right click on it to choose “Explore“.
3. You will see the all the folders in J: drive.
Note: You can only view the list of the files & folders but not make any modification to the folders or files.
you can see the name, creation time, modified time and files size as a tree view in this interface. And the present edition of Partition Wizard only supports explore FAT12, FAT16, FAT32 and NTFS file system.
Note: Explore partition is available in all Partition Wizard editions.
