Access Disk Management

What is Disk Management

Disk Management is a Microsoft Windows utility. It was first introduced in Windows XP to replace fdisk command. Disk Management enables users to view and manage hard disks that are internally connected with computer as well as the external drives. With Disk Management, you can initialize disks, create volumes, format volumes, delete volume, etc…. Since Windows 7, Disk Management has been added with a new feature called extend volume which helps to increase partition size.

However, extend volume greyed out happens often as well as other features.

A More Flexible Disk Management Tool

As mentioned at the former part, extend volume as well as other features in Disk Management often greyed out, bring much trouble to users when they really need to do so. In many cases, you have to delete a partition or even the whole disk in order to execute an operation – that’s too bad! So we recommend users to use freeware MiniTool Partition Wizard to help them when they get stuck in using Windows Disk Management.

MiniTool Partition Wizard Free is powerful disk partition management software which comes with a lot of powerful functions and enables users to control hard disks and partitions more flexible.

With concise and user-friendly interface, it’s convenient for Windows users to view statues of every partition and make changes to them. It breaks the much limitations in Windows built-in Disk Management. Besides, most operations can be finished by only a few clicks without losing data. Works well on Windows 10/8/7/XP/Vista.
