Nintendo 3DS is a very popular handheld gaming device among world-wide users, and is usually compared with Sony PSP. 3DS comes with two fascinating screens and a built-in 2GB/4GB SD card for storage. However, this SD card is easily to run out of disk space. Hence, many users replace the built-in SD card with another one that has higher capacity.
But do you know what SD card format it is for 3DS? According to Nintendo, FAT32 is the required file system and the SD card should be no more than 32GB. In addition, SDXC and MicroSDXC cards are not considered compatible. So if you also intend to replace the Nintendo 3DS SD card with another one, it is better for you to follow the requirement of Nintendo. And if your SD card has other file systems instead of FAT32 (you can check it by viewing its property), reformat it to FAT32.
